Instructor Scholarship Application

Depending on amount of donated scholarship funds, a scholarship may include any or all of the following:

1. Conference registration cost;
2. Hotel costs – depending on the length of the ISC; &/or
3. Travel costs (mileage or airfare, whichever is least).

Excluded costs include meals not provided to all conference attendees.

If the amount of funds necessary to cover all applicants exceeds the amount of donated funds, the following criteria will be considered in selecting recipients and amounts awarded:

• Applicants from a local college in the geographic area of the conference can receive a “registration only” scholarship which will cover the cost of the conference;
• Priority will be given to applicants who have not received a scholarship for the previous 2 consecutive years;
• Priority will be given to applicants who have not received more than 3 scholarships over the past 6 years; and
• Priority will be given to applicants who are not Lifetime Achievement Awardee (because LAA receive a discount to all NAPTA events).

A High School PTEC Instructor may apply for a one-time registration scholarship, or full scholarship, if all other criteria are met.
