David Gosnay - Manager, Channelview Training and Development - LyondellBasell
David Gosnay currently works for LyondellBasell and is responsible for training and leadership development for operations and maintenance at the Channelview facility. David started his 44 year career as an operations technician and has held various roles in operations leadership.
In his current role David leads workforce development initiatives with local Community Colleges, created a Veterans Educational Benefits Program, and leads a collaborative hiring process that links industry and education. David serves on the San Jacinto College Chancellor Advisory Panel and numerous community college advisory panels.
Shannon Burke - President/Executive Director
Shannon Burke – President/Executive Director, NAPTA
Shannon was previously Government and Community Relations Manager for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., with responsibility for the Southern Region including the U.S. Gulf Coast and South America. She holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence and a B.A. in Communications. Prior to 2021, Shannon was with The Lubrizol Corporation for eleven years, and practiced law prior to joining Lubrizol. Shannon has held roles with various community and industry organizations, including serving as Chairman of the Deer Park Crime Control and Prevention District and on various Texas Chemical Council committees. Shannon stays busy with her husband Chad and their family.
Sarah Janes - Treasurer
Sarah Janes - Associate Vice Chancellor of Continuing and Professional Development, San Jacinto College
Dr. Janes is the Associate Vice Chancellor of Continuing and Professional Development (CPD) at San Jacinto College. In this position, she provides oversight of the Division of Corporate Training and the Division of Community Education for the college district. Prior to becoming Associate Vice Chancellor, she served as Dean of Instruction and Academic Dean at San Jacinto College North Campus. She has written and directed grants over the past 20 years with funding from a variety of sources, including the US Department of Labor, US Department of Education, Texas Workforce Commission, and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. She has over 25 years of experience at the community college level and eighteen years in public education. Under her leadership, San Jacinto College has established the first maritime program in a community college in Texas. Dr. Janes serves on the Houston Galveston Area Council – Workforce Board representing Education; and on the Port Houston Application Review Committee for the Houston Pilots. She has served on various state committees including the Texas Common Course Numbering System Board and the Negotiated Rulemaking Committee.
Dr. Janes received her baccalaureate degree in Mathematics Education, Recreation, Health and Physical Education from Louisiana State University. She earned her Master of Arts degree in mathematics from that same institution. Dr. Janes earned her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University.
Madonna Adams - Director
Madonna Adams - Director, Center for Business/Industry Training, Brazosport College
Dr. Adams is a Louisiana native who has called Texas home for the last 8 years. She is currently serving as the Director of the Center for Business/Industry Training (CBIT) at Brazosport College, where she is responsible for establishing corporate partnerships within the Gulf Coast area, initiating and finalizing business agreements, driving strategic learning initiatives, and leading a team of training professionals. Dr. Adams has written and managed grants from various funding streams, including US Department of Education, US Department of Labor and Texas Workforce Commission throughout her 18 year career in the education and training field. Prior to coming to Brazosport College, she taught and managed educational initiatives and programs at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, The University of Phoenix, and NASA Johnson Space Center through San Jacinto College.
Dr. Adams has earned a Master’s Degree from Louisiana State University in Public Administration and a Ph.D. from the University of Southern Mississippi in Human Capital Development.
David Esquibel - Director
David Esquibel – Workforce Development Specialist Crafts & Operations, Shell Oil Company (ret'd)
David is a member of Shell’s Workforce Community Strategic Initiative Team. He is responsible for Shell’s Associate & Technical Scholarship, Dual Credit and 2-year STEM career programs and manages more than 20 community colleges across the US. The management and execution of these programs strengthen Shell’s technical talent pipeline in Process Technology, Instrumentation and Maintenance Crafts. He is also responsible for developing workforce strategies for Shell’s Up and Downstream Businesses and additional responsibilities include, involvement in strategic external associations such as NAPTA, grant funding and program development to help attract females, military and pre-college students to the oil & gas and petrochemical industry.
Crystal Lovelady-Jackson - Director
Crystal Lovelady-Jackson - Workforce Development Advisor - Shell Oil Company
Crystal Lovelady-Jackson has a passion for working within the Community and providing the next generation the skills needed to be successful. With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources in the oil and gas industry, Crystal utilizes the skills and experiences gained in her current role as Workforce Development Advisor. Crystal supports workforce development strategies for upstream and downstream business operations.
Crystal is also responsible for managing Shell’s Associate and Technical Scholarship program, Energy Venture camps, dual credit programs, and workshops for females and members of the military to attract operations and craft talent to Shell and the industry. In addition, Crystal collaborates with community colleges and K-12 programs across the U.S. where Shell has a major presence to raise awareness and attract students to the industry.
Stacy Putman - Director
Stacy Putman - Manager of Advocacy, Workforce Development & Strategic Projects - INEOS
Stacy Putman is Manager of Advocacy, Workforce Development & Strategic Projects for INEOS covering assets in 6 US states. She maintains an office at INEOS’ North American HQ in League City, Texas, but is typically found in Community at the manufacturing sites or with other key stakeholders.
Stacy joined INEOS in 2005 where she began as Polymers Commercial Operations Manager. Subsequent roles were HSEQ Corporate Manager and Site Director for the Carson, CA location. Returning to Texas in late 2018, she has served as the Sr. Project Director on a $1b+ capital project expansion at the INEOS Brazoria County site.
Stacy has served on the EXCO advisory committee with AFPM since 2009 and in 2016, she was honored with the Manufacturing Institute’s (MI) Top 100 Women in Manufacturing award and has served in an advisory capacity to MI since 2016. Stacy earned her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University and she and her husband reside in Galveston, TX.
